Tips: Use a strong construction adhesive with as small of a bead as possible. We chose a clear one to minimize visibility. Miter spring clamps help hold the pieces together while the adhesive takes hold.

Describe Your Project: Primary bedroom update. Replaced a traditional headboard bed with a platform bed and used fretwork to create a headboard wall. We purchased 1/4 inch birch fretwork, finished it with a Early American stain, and coated it with wipe-on polyurethane. Trimmed the top with a piece of solid birch to create separation between the wall and the sloped ceiling in this second-story bedroom.
