Tips: Measure center of room and work your way out. Mark a straight line starting line so your tiles stay straight. Make sure you buy the extras that DCT reccomends so the patterns match up when you get to the end of the walls. Keep your razor edge sharp for clean cut lines.

Describe Your Project: 70+ year old farmhouse kitchen with alot of cracks, nail holes, and some old plaster in the crooked old ceilings. Initially was going to cover the ceiling with wooden beadboard, but being an everyday woman, didnt know how I was going to get it up without hiring someone to help me. Needless to say, I was putting that project off until one day I was on the computer and saw an advertisement for DCT. I clicked and looked around, read the reviews, and bought them.

Would You Recommend This Project To A Friend And Why?: ABSOLUTELY! They are lightweight and easy enough for 1 person to install (I just happen to be an everyday woman) so no need to hire extra help. They were extremely easy to cut and to install. The details of the tile are crisp and beautiful. The tiles line up perfectly so you dont need any trim. They are affordable and do a GREAT coverup while providing insulation.
