Tips:
To distress the tiles, I started with a clear primer and then used a light coat of random sweeps of black paint followed by a brushing of steel wool.
Describe Your Project:
My husband is a pilot and we have a navigational theme in our house. The Compass Rose was a perfect design choice. The color, smoothness, and shine of the tiles are a perfect contrast to the muted rough brick.
