"We did a basement renovation and needed to cover some ceiling holes that were a result of tearing out built ins. We also wanted to clearly designate the bar area from our basement living area, and having the ceiling covered helps give a good illusion of two spaces. We also wanted to break up the wall from dark to light so we used the trim along the wall and I couldn’t be happier with the look."
Tips: Because we were installing in an older basement on a plaster ceiling, we ended up installing ply wood sheeting first to nail in. We also bought unfinished tin since I liked that look but we up sealed it with a gloss poly.
