Faux Wood Beams – 13 ft. Length & 6 in. Width

"1) (Self) Installed four 20ft ceiling beams. (entry pics attached) 2) Sunroom A-Frame ceiling beams ("additional images") 3) Office ceiling beams ("additional images") Absolutely recommend but must follow the tips above to be successful. All my neighbors loved it and thinking of doing similar projects."
Tips: 1) Build multiple 2x4 stilts to hold beams in place for airgun nail. This allowed three persons to easily install one beam in minutes. 2) Use Lowes $20 laser beam tool to place position marks on ceiling. Enabled transfer of beam centerline from floor to ceiling with high precision with minimal ladder time at ceiling. 3) With a fine tooth hand saw, slice a small wedge off the end of beam to enable what would have been an above head (and dangerous) impossible wall-to-wall interference fit installation methodology. When cut with a fine tooth saw, Faux material mates tightly with barely visibility or noticeable (touch up paint fixes). - Mitchell Gonzales
