"We needed a way to finish the very dirty, old, uneven, painted, leak stained, pop-corned ceilings in our 1900s vintage renovation. Our options were to totally redo the ceilings (new sheetrock, tape, mud, paint - the works!) or try these tiles. While the sheetrock overhaul would have been cheaper, it would have taken MANY times longer than putting up the tiles - days of work vs about 2 hours!! PLUS, the ceilings look amazing now!. After doing this first bedroom, we've decided to do several more ceilings in different styles. I'm actually looking forward to finishing ceilings now!! "
Tips: I definitely recommend getting the tiles pre-painted! This gives them a really nice finished look and saves A TON of time versus trying to paint them yourself. WELL worth a little extra money!
