"Full remodel of our home laundry/utility room, to include decorative ceiling tiles, floor tile, faux rock wall covering, demolition/re-work of original closets, rerouting of plumbing and dryer vent, new electrical wiring for additional fixtures and outlets, all new fixtures, new cabinets/countertop/sink, new crown molding. All demo and installation was DIY by the homeowners."
Tips: Carefully plan your tile layout ahead of time by anticipating what your edges will look like, and make the most of the tiles you cut by utilizing both sides of them if possible.

"This project is a new custom home and they wanted to have that vintage vibe of a loft. We have the 1 1/4” brick veneer for the back splash to really give it that look, and also the vintage style transoms over the door add to the vibe as well. The copper ceiling tile look in the tray is the cherry on top! This is a very inexpensive way to get a copper ceiling tile look!"
Tips: Make sure if you want to use these tiles in a gray lie we did here, that you build your tray specifically to fit the amount of tiles you want without cutting them. That way you get this seamless look! If the gray is already built, you can add crown or other trim to help to frame it in so that you can have the whole uncut tile.

Tips: I suggest some sort of trim or molding around the tile at the walls. I tried going without and it doesn’t look “finished.”

"We have a cathedral ceiling in our den/family or living room and my wife wanted to get rid of the old pop corn or textured ceiling and update the room with tile. I also decided to install the same tile in the raised ceiling area of our game room and master bedroom.Yes, because when done right these tiles at a wonderful look to the room's decor."
Tips: Patience to hide the seams with drywall mud or caulk.To reduce the work of removing the old textured ceiling, I found installing the tiles in a drop ceiling configuration worked great. For the most part, I just left the textured ceiling undisturbed. Although a few spots did fell down.
