"I remodeled my guest first floor bathroom. I was concerned about the light weight of the tiles and ability to take paint. The light weight of the tiles actually made them a breeze to cut and install. And they took paint easily. Very happy with the finished product."
Tips: Don't be put off by the thin light weight nature of the tiles. They will look great when installed. I put mine on a piece of plywood face down and "buttered" them with the proper adhesive. They easily trim with a razor knife.

"I removed my popcorn ceiling and replaced it with Decorative Ceiling ties styrofoam tiles (The Virginian - Styrofoam Ceiling Tile - 20"x20" - #R08) and DIY Foam Crown Molding - 3.5" - #CC 352. This was SO easy to do - I did it all myself and I love the way it looks. On to the next room!"
Tips: Make sure you get a strong and fast acting glue if gluing over old popcorn. I ended using Gorilla glue because my ceiling was still a little soft and I didn't want to spend a few more hours priming it just to cover it..

"I love this product! I used this specific tile pattern in my laundry room and it made an amazing update. It easily glued right over the popcorn. This is a good pattern to use for a small space because the pattern is smaller. We had to trim 2 wall sides just slightly, but it is barely noticeable. I would suggest buying 2 extra tiles in addition to the extra percent they suggest. For a small space, we noticed our walls were slightly crooked and it effected the ceiling. I ended up ordering a few extra tiles. I used the white color as they come and it looks slightly metallic against my crystal chandelier - which I love! There was no need to paint these for this specific project. I highly recommend these and will definitely purchase from Decorative Ceiling Tiles again."
