"We recently bought a condo and while we love almost everything about it, I did not love the popcorn ceilings that it came with. We wanted to hire someone to remove the popcorn ceiling, but because of the age of the condo, it was possible that it was asbestos and would cost over $3,000 to abate and remove. As luck should have it, I came across these styrofoam ceiling tiles and then showed the installation instruction video to my husband. We decided to order a sample of the Satin White painted tile and see whether or not we liked them. We were impressed with how easy it was to put up and ordered more. Installation is a breeze and is made even easier with a second set of hands. The tiles are easy to cut with regular scissors, so apart from the adhesive and caulking gun, no special tools are required. Everyone who has seen our new ceiling is super impressed with the results and we are too. "

"It came out well, it went up fairly easy, once I got the 'hang' of it. BUT, I made a huge colour error; one you should note in ALL your ceiling tile adverts. The dark background to the tiles makes the room look low and heavy. It is worse at night. The room 'feels' about 3 feet high, with a 'black lid' on it. It is a mistake I corrected in the Dining room tiles I have not had the chance to put up, ditto the ones in the North passageway ceiling. If you had a 3 story cathedral ceiling in a room, then the dark ones might work, but not in my 07 ft. room. I can live with it, I cannot spend the $ and labour, now, to change it. But you can be sure that it will be changed at some future date.So, please warn your customers about a dark ceiling tile. "
