"Purchased unpainted Ivy Leaves Styrofoam tiles to do my kitchen ceiling. The tiles look amazing, were easy to install and I brushed painted them with Glidden flat white paint for Styrofoam after caulking each joint. "We removed a 25 year old ceiling fan to make way for an updated ceiling for our kitchen. My husband & I chose faux vintage style ceiling tiles and framed it out with some sentimental family barn boards ."Tips: Have your ceiling marked precisely where you want your tiles. - Make sure your project is square to all adjacent walls. - Work with your electrician for centering of your lights to avoid any problems during your installation. - Find and mark width of ceiling joists to help with installation of heavy barn boards.- Patricia Barnett
