"We embarked on a kitchen face lift and after redoing the cabinets and painting the walls we needed a new look for the ceiling in this 1922 Florida bungalow. We found the perfect tile that looked period specific and gave us a great contrast to the white ceiling. We used a piano hinge to create a framed in drop down and used similar molding to frame it. The antique finish and old fashioned design of the tile was the perfect touch for this design! "

"These are so easy to install. Our friends cannot believe they're made of styrofoam. Once painted, you can't tell at all and they cover a lot of ceiling sins. Used the ivy design in our kitchen and bathroom of 1920's cottage. Will be buying a simpler design to cover the other popcorn ceilings in our house."

"Took down three flourescent light kits, and replaced with two track lights and a standard flush-mount ceiling light. Added these green, beautiful metal-looking (PVC) tiles for a beautiful look. Easy and so worth the time! Now, on to updating the rest of the kitchen."Tips: If changing lights, put lights up first so you know where to cut, then remove them and install ceiling panels. Then put them back up, allowing room for the thickness of the tile. When installing trim, be sure you pick the correct size to fit, allowing for the thickness of the tile once again.- Suzanne Denning

"This one was a little bit trickier this time. Due to more details. On cutting, the designs need to match. I had to use the extreme loctite glue because someone blowed a portion of popcorn on a section. I guess to match up the original popcorn on previous ceiling. As the regular would not stick. I did sand it, washed it and still it did not hold. This was a rental property I own."- Melany G
