"Cover old kitchen ceiling which was spun circles of plaster (1965 ceiling! ) I had previously removed closet and pantry to open up kitchen with new cabinets and soffets from leftover linoleum after putting in new floor.Yes, unless you spend time and mess to scrape old ceilings, this is efficient and easy method to cover them up! Tips: Slow your cut evenly over the material where the elliptical line patterns meet the smoother material.

"I wanted to replace a dated brass wire mesh that allowed too much light into a cabinet. The cabinet is used to store some of my home canning efforts and a darkened cabinet allows for better conditions. Easy to cut and replace the panel."
Tips: I used some fiberglass packing tape to stabilize the cut line befre cutting.

"We covered an old, cracked plaster ceiling with the styrofoam ceiling tiles. YES!!! I’ve already recommended Decorative ceiling tiles to numerous friends, family and clients (I’m a painting contractor). The tiles work so well especially in older homes with cracks. Eliminating the need for retexturing while also adding a beautiful new look!"
Tips: Use a sharp blade to make cuts and make your “blobs” of adhesive pretty thick. The tiles go up like a dream!
