"Installed matching crown molding. Huge value increase with moderate investment.Fast Shipping to Canada a bit hefty. You need to really want to go this route to pay those prices."
Tips: Use clear caulk that starts out a different colour when wet. Make it easy to see. Also, if ceiling is not smooth, fill imperfections. Lastly, use a very sharp blade and change often for best results.

" I am remodeling a 108 year old home that had great bones, but was neglected for decades. Every room was covered in wood paneling and not one wall is straight. I have your ceiling tiles in 7 rooms so far.... Still a lot of work to do. I love these tiles. They bring beautiful drama to a room...."
Tips:
1. Leave 1/16" of an inch between tiles to allow for minor deviations so that your joint lines stay straight.
2. Layout your tiles so that the perimeter tiles are of similar size so you don't end up with a full tile on one side and a sliver on the other. (It's more cutting, but looks better)
3. If you have recessed lights, cut your ceiling holes before putting up the tiles. Then use a razor blade to cut the circle out.
4. When you cut the tip of the caulk gun, cut so it is a very small hole and work slowly and methodically on your seams. It is very easy to use too much caulk and the tiles can get messy and you can see the imperfections after
painting the tiles.

"We are renovating an old funeral home built originally in 1905. This space is over 1,000 square feet and took several days to complete. Our original order had been unpainted tiles which we painted ourselves. From now on we will order the pre-painted just to save on time!
This tile looks amazing. We had a home tour right after finishing this project and people were amazed with the ceiling tiles! They could not believe they were styrofoam."
Tips: Loc-tite adhesive is AMAZING! Works fast and holds fantastically.- Gillian Lange

"I wanted to spruce up the bathroom ceiling of a small (44 square ft) bathroom in my Victorian house, and decided on glue-up decorative ceiling tiles and foam moulding, so I could install it myself. Project (including painting, Benjamin Moore's "Gentleman's Gray") took a weekend. Love the results!"
Tips:
1. I recommend having a vacuum cleaner handy when cutting the crown moulding. Because it's styrofoam, cutting it makes a bit of a mess. I cut it with a 10" compound mitre saw, and the little bits of foam went everywhere. Vacuuming after every other cut helped it stay contained.
2. The styrofoam is very susceptible to dents and dings, so I'd recommend cutting it as close to the installation site as possible.
3. The ceiling tiles are INCREDIBLY easy to work with, and cuts well with a pair of scissors. Just measure twice and take your time!
