"Used a piece of 16 gauge sheet metal and gorilla gulled the tile to the metal. We cut out holes in the pattern to allow ventilation for the exhaust fan, and a hole for the chandelier hardware/wire. Screwed the metal into joists where we could and used bigger anchors every where else. Painted the corners a bit to blend it into the room more."
Tips: We cut out holes to cover the old ugly bathroom vent, check the orientation of the holes twice, we accidentally cut the first one upside down and it didn't line up with the vent. Luckily i ordered a backup. - Devin Snyder
