"This is a 4’ x 5’ powder room. The challenge was reaching the ceiling in a room like this where you couldn’t put up a step ladder every place you need it. The company was so helpful with double-checking to make sure our products were compatible. "
Tips : Pull vent covers down and place ceiling tile sections around them. Choose a wall covering that contrasts with the beautiful ornate ceiling and crown moulding.

" I've always wanted a proper study, to display my military memorabilia and book collection, and sit by the fire. The copper tiles really tie it together I think. I think these are a beautiful addition to so many rooms, I'm shocked I don't see them everywhere!"
Tips: I realized too late that the tiles can overlap to hide the seam...It still looks ok but I'd caution first timers to be aware of that.

Tips: Use a tiny drill bit to pre-drill the hole where several tiles intersect. It makes hammering in the copper plated nails much easier.

Tips: Figure out the center of your ceiling before starting on the project. Figure out the area of the project, and then decide how you want to arrange the tiles. Decide whether you want to use trim boards, as we ultimately did, to avoid having to cut the tiles...

Tips: Use heavy duty loctite if gluing. This is a great way to cover popcorn ceilings that may have asbestos.

" After putting it off for quite some time I decided it was time to refinish our basement bathroom which was dank and in a state of disrepair. I refinished all of the surfaces and when it came to the ceiling we decided to go with the matte white La Scalia tiles to replace the old drop ceiling tiles. They were easy to work with and install and we love how they compliment the completed bathroom."
Tips: Since all of the tiles along the one wall in my drop ceiling grid terminated early it left some of the cut edges looking a bit droopy. I found that in those areas if I glued the new cut tile to the old ceiling tile, which was stiffer, it held the new tile flat and looked just right.
