"Very happy with the results and stands out great with the new mirror and remodeled old look!"
I needed to cover the mirror wall with something that would stand out and have an 'old school' look. During the remodel and removal of the wall mirror, which was secured by globs of mastic and exposed wall damage, I did not want to patch the wall which never quite looks the same. Doing research online I ran across the Decorative Ceiling Tile web page, this was my solution to the wall issue! I ordered the Antique Silver 25' roll, super easy to install and looks awesome. I went with this product for a few reasons....roll material will mean less seams and the plastic would work great in a bathroom!
Tips: A few days before install unroll and cut the lengths needed for the project. Reverse roll the product (the decorative embossing will now be on the outside of the roll) use small pieces of tape on the edge to keep rolled this way. I found this will 'release' the roll memory and make it lay flat without curling up, so much easier to deal with! I used Loctite 3x power grab glue and staples on the leading edge which will be covered by edge moulding. If you align a wall make sure to cut the roll so each embossed design lines up with the next...this creates a seamless look!
