Tips: Use regular drop ceiling tiles and add decorative ones on top. Spray paint grid bars or purchase something to match.

"I hand painted all of the tiles using 123 Zinzer primer then rolled on a coat of rustoleum Serenity Blue chalk paint finished with Rustoleum copper metallic paint. To achieve the worn distressed look. All water based compounds..."
Tips: Always prime the Styrofoam panels first. It keeps the topcoat on the panels longer. Use a sponge decorator roller cut to 3 inches to spread the copper metallic paint.

"Decided to use the styrofoam crown molding egge and barrow design. Installed the plastic ceiling tile as well for an extra vintage look. Painted and finished in bright satin white. This was light and easy to cut to size. A very easy to glue up and tape to dry in place material. Much easier that wood and or plaster. Easy to order and shipped to us in a week."
Tips: Use a hot wire trimmer as a sawing device. Mark upper and lower mounting points

"Small and bare entry way needed a little living up......and a little light. 2 step tray/ coffered ceiling, with recessed motion sensor light, accenting the hand painted Milan II ceiling tile centerpiece. Experience with DCT was great and i will definitely be going to them again on future projects. Rinky dink, single tile order was treated just as good as a multi $$$ quantity purchase. Received tile early and quality of product is simply impressive by itself!

"This was my first attempt at installing ceiling tiles. The amount was small to see if I could do it and also determine if I liked the results. Obviously I did it and am thrilled. I wouldn’t post it otherwise. Just ordered the same product for a large room. We shall see how that goes. Sure would. It is a great DIY project. Does not require sophisticated tools or years of experience. It does take time and thought however."
Tips: Think about installing each and every tile. Everyone needed to be cut for this install and not the same way. That error cost me $100.
